Ghost Tower

"Like many people, I was glued to the television for days following the September 11th tragedy. The image of the wreackage depicted in the foreground of 'Ghost Towers' stuck with me. As I heard stories about people who had died, I recorded their names and then quilted them into the background as a tribute. The figures holding hands represent the ture American spirit of people pitching in to help, to try and ease the pain of those left behind."
