“The Healing Quilt Project”

There are several quilt and comfort projects underway in the world, and there's something for everyone - knit, crochet, sew, whatever your needleart - there is room for all who wish to participate. The Healing Quilt Project's goal is to provide small quilts (lap to twin sized) to people as a way of saying thank you, in rememberance, as a show of support and solidarity, and as an effort of comfort and healing. This project is for the recipient and for the makers; the need to do something is strong and the people who are working in rescue and recovery, as well as those men and women being called to serve, are in our hearts and minds, appreciated, cared for, and loved.
