WHAT DESIGNERS CAN DO



Become an American Spirit Quilt Designer. Use the Join the Project link on the menu to the left.

  • Create an American Spirit Quilt Design that people can use to make charity quilts for the project. Send it to us as an EQ4 file or on paper suitable for scanning. Send the instructions via e-mail.

  • We will post your design on the website as soon as possible with appropriate copyright information. See our free patterns page for the copyright conditions. You will retain the copyrights to your work, except that you give permission for people to make quilts for their personal use and to make quilts for charity.

  • Help publicize the project through your newsletter and on your website. Create a link to the American Spirit Quilt Project. You may take a copy of the logo to use on your site without additional permission. Please notify us that you have created a link.

  • Offer to teach your pattern at a nearby quilt shop with all the quilts made from your pattern going to a charity in the community.

  • As you come up with other ideas of your own, please send us an e-mail, and we'll pass your ideas on to others.
